There are series of challenges that requires professional handling. These problems differs by persons and circumstances. Psychological trauma as a result of societal and institutional problems like insurgency, failure in academic pursuits, and choice in field of study among others needs urgent attention. In realization of these needs, the institution established a guidance and counselling unit headed by a trained counsellor under the dean student affairs.
The Guidance and Counselling unit helps address the challenges encountered by both staff and students.
